Moving Day

Last week my grandfather decided that he wanted to move into a new apartment. We were buying him a pair of copper bracelets for arthritis when he told me the news. He said that he didn’t want to care for his house anymore and that he didn’t need the space. He said that he can make a great deal of money by renting the place out and getting himself an apartment, which sounded like a really good idea too. He said that he was also going to buy a couple of brand-new copper bracelets for his neighbor, whom he had a crush on.

After we got everything moved into his new place he told me that the only thing he was going to miss was his neighbor. So in a grand dramatic gesture he had me take him right back to her house. He went and knocked on her door and presented her with her very own magnetic necklace, which she had purchased for her some time ago. He said he just got nervous like he was a 15-year-old boy again, which was actually really sweet. The two then went out later that night to play miniature golf and get some ice cream.
